Initial Challenge

Our Approach
We conducted interviews with all department members to understand their concerns and objectives. The resulting training program focused on developing frameworks for appropriate AI use in language education, with extensive discussion of when AI assistance supported learning versus when it undermined pedagogical goals. Teachers practiced using tools with sample student work and developed departmental guidelines together.
Outcomes
