Guided by Experience, Driven by Care
We believe AI adoption should be thoughtful, contextual, and respectful of the human dimension in education and work.
Return HomeOur Story
VNNew emerged from a simple observation: organizations and educators in Vietnam face increasing pressure to adopt AI technologies, yet most available guidance treats AI as a universal solution rather than a tool that must fit specific contexts. We saw colleagues implementing systems that looked impressive on paper but failed to align with actual workflows, cultural norms, or institutional constraints.
Founded in early 2023, our practice grew from conversations with educators who wanted honest assessments rather than vendor pitches. We listened to administrators navigating institutional resistance, teachers concerned about preserving pedagogical values, and managers trying to understand which AI capabilities mattered for their teams. These conversations revealed a consistent need: people wanted guidance that acknowledged complexity, respected their judgment, and helped them make informed choices.
Our approach centers on listening before advising. We spend time understanding your environment, constraints, and objectives before suggesting pathways. We discuss tradeoffs openly, including when AI adoption might not serve your immediate needs. This patient, contextual approach has allowed us to build relationships with clients who value depth over speed and thoughtful implementation over flashy demonstrations.
Working primarily with educational institutions and organizations in Vietnam, we have developed expertise in navigating the specific challenges of this region: multilingual environments, diverse levels of technical infrastructure, varying comfort with technology adoption, and cultural considerations that influence how teams work together. We bring this regional understanding to every engagement while remaining current with global developments in AI capabilities.

Our Professional Standards
We maintain clear ethical guidelines and professional practices in all our work.
Confidentiality
All client information, including organizational details, strategic discussions, and data samples, remains strictly confidential. We sign non-disclosure agreements when requested and maintain secure handling of any materials shared during engagements.
Vendor Independence
We maintain no financial relationships with AI platform vendors or service providers. Our recommendations are based solely on client needs and objective assessment of available options, allowing us to provide unbiased guidance.
Continuous Learning
AI capabilities evolve rapidly. We dedicate time each month to studying new developments, testing emerging tools, and refining our understanding. This commitment to ongoing learning ensures our guidance reflects current capabilities and limitations.
Data Privacy
We help clients understand data privacy implications of different AI approaches and assist in developing policies that protect sensitive information. During training, we work with anonymized or synthetic data whenever possible to minimize risk.
Honest Communication
We discuss limitations, risks, and uncertainties openly. When we do not know something, we say so clearly. When AI adoption may not serve immediate needs, we communicate that perspective even when it means recommending against our own services.
Cultural Sensitivity
We recognize that effective AI implementation must respect organizational culture and local context. Our guidance acknowledges the Vietnamese educational and business environment while drawing on global best practices where relevant.
Our Values and Approach
Context Over Convention
Every organization has unique workflows, constraints, and cultural norms. We invest time understanding your specific environment before suggesting approaches. What works well in one setting may fail in another, and effective guidance must respect these differences rather than imposing generic solutions.
Critical Thinking Alongside Technical Skill
Technical capability alone does not ensure effective AI use. We emphasize developing judgment about when and how to apply AI tools, understanding their limitations, and maintaining awareness of ethical implications. Our training builds capacity for thoughtful decision-making, not just tool operation.
Patient Implementation
Meaningful change takes time. We encourage gradual, iterative adoption that allows teams to develop understanding and adjust approaches based on experience. Rush implementations often create resistance and waste resources. We help clients move at a pace that supports genuine learning and sustainable integration.
Preserving Human Judgment
AI should augment rather than replace human decision-making. We help organizations identify where AI can genuinely add value while protecting spaces where human judgment, creativity, and relationship remain central. Technology serves people and purposes, not the reverse.
